I learned to build solutions
in complex systems
Before founding EnTrópica I spent over eight years building analytics, data science and AI within the life sciences and healthcare industry, at Pfizer, Thermo Fisher Scientific, and PerkinElmer.
I designed the decision infrastructure that powers global pharmaceutical companies: unified data models, commercial optimization engines, executive dashboards, and generative AI pipelines.
With a background in biotechnology engineering that taught me something unforgettable: a complex system — a cell, a patient, a market, a company — cannot be fixed piece by piece; it must be understood as a self-regulating whole.
That perspective is what I bring to every project.

What does EnTrópica mean?
Every complex system tends toward disorder. That is a law of physics, not an opinion.
Organizations are no exception: data scatters, processes become manual, decisions slow down. Physicists call that entropy. We think it is the most interesting problem in the business world.
EnTrópica was born to work exactly there, because order is not the natural state of things — it is something that must be built. That takes energy, judgment, and intention. That is, literally, our work.
And we do it from the tropics: Costa Rican roots, regional talent, solutions designed from the inside — not imported — built to address the challenges and seize the opportunities of the region.

We work with two models: a defined-scope implementation project with clear deliverables, or an ongoing partner model that includes development, support, monitoring, and continuous optimization of the solutions.
